Desolate

Desolate, originally uploaded by vedd.

Tanjung Harapan is a notable tourist attraction in Selangor (Although nothing much there in actual). It is located near the Northport in Port Klang.

A litlle story behind this - I know where the place is but I seriously have no idea on how to get there (been there previously like 2 times and that was like 7-8 years ago!). Lucky for me, Daniel's cool mobile has a GPS. SO we're able to reach there in time for some spectacular sunset/blue hour!

This will be the last photo outing with him as he will be re-locating to Dubai. Definitely will miss going out with the master himself again!

Tech notes: This is a PSB taken a bit later from the previous one - hence the golden glow on the rocks are from the street lights. I made 3 tonemapped HDR and 1 DRI from it and blended it using smart objects (thanks to Daniel for shedding some light into it!) and also Rajesh's PSB technique. All in all 18 exposures were used to create this.
