Balik Kampung

Tuesday, August 07, 2007

Went back to Taiping on Sunday and came back yesterday. Just a short one. Didn't went out to the town except for one opportunity when my wife wanted to have her hair washed at the saloon. Took the opportunity to shoot the surrounding area while waiting for her to finish :-)

I got quite a lot of photos but for now these two should be enough... I'll upload more later as an update to this post.

Sidewalks of Taiping

Streets of Taiping

I'm going back to Taiping soon!

Update:

Well, these are more picture updates from my short trip back to Taiping. It was a very short one that I didn't manage to shoot other popular parts of Taiping like the Lake Garden, Museum etc.. etc.. Only streets photography and sunset.

Sunset over Taiping

Age of Decay

The Curve

I'm so going back to Taiping again - to finish what I started.

Monochromed

Wednesday, August 01, 2007

Ever wonder what would your day be if all the eye-candy colors were non-existent? Would it be dull and lifeless? Somehow I beg to differ :)

These were taken at Ulu Yam with Raguqx and a shot of an old abandoned house in the vicinity of the new Sungai Buloh Hospital.

Silence

Difference - Which one will you take?

Old and Forgotten

Colored Life

Would we be able to convey the same feeling and atmosphere when it has a vibrant and rich color? The same coin but each side are distinctly different.

In-transit

Framing the shot. My buddy Raguqx framing it.

Life - aren't it interesting?
