I will be moving out from Blogspot to my own domain at http://www.frozenlite.com. At the moment, the site is still under construction and should be operational by August 2010. Until then, I won't be updating this site anymore. If you would like to see my latest photos please proceed to my Flickr site here. All of my images/photos are copyrighted. If you wish to buy yourself a print, kindly proceed here. If you wish to get a softcopy, all of my images are available for purchase via Getty Images. All you need to do is visit my Flickr page and at the photo page, there will be a link to license the image via Getty Images.
And last but not least, I will be conducting a workshop (hopefully on a regular basis) on HDR and DRI. Details are still being worked out but if you like to find out more about it, drop me a line vedd -[at]- frozenlite -[dot]- com
Many thanks to Awe2020 for bringing Daniel and I to Bagan Pasir, Kuala Selangor. It was quite a party with fellow Flickrites such as ProfKMS, Pjoe, Wan Husmi and sseme. It was a beautiful sunset and a complimenting village.
As the theme suggested, this is when Daniel, Ariffin, SPNikon and me were doing some urban decay shots. The location was Pekeliling Flats, since some of the blocks were already vacated. Provided some really good view of architectural geometry and a view of Kuala Lumpur.

OK, here's a little good news. Some of my pictures now are available at my Imagekind as prints - from small to extra large prints. If you like my those pictures, don't be shy and just buy a few :D Also if you are keen on helping me getting some of the lenses, do buy the prints as well! :-)
Off course not all the pictures in my Flickr are there, but if you really want to get prints (or soft copies for commercial use) of pictures at my Flickr, which are not at ImageKind, just drop me an email at jhar74 {at} gmail [dot] com. We can work things from there! Click the below icon to go to my ImageKind directly.
Had a lovely time going out with great friends last week. Off course it was a photography outing! I was with Daniel, Ariffin and awe2020 taking photos around the As-Syakirin Mosque in the KLCC park. We also did went to Putrajaya for some night shots together. This time around it was kinda special for me - I got myself the lens that I was dreaming about, the Canon EF-S 10-22mm! Wide has a new meaning with this lens, seriously! Couldn't be happier hehe.. All these were shot using the 10-22mm super wide lens.

Well, Daniel is here again KL. Let's see what we can think of next :-)
A continuation from the previous post during Daniel's visit to KL. There were a lot of interesting subjects in that particular abandoned house. I think I'm gonna re-visit it in the morning and hope there will some rays of light poking through into the house sometime soon!
Woaahh... it's been a while since my last update. Well, it wasn't intentional. I found myself somewhat less inspired - thanks to the hazy and rainstorm that occurs almost everyday! It's a really killing my mood of getting that shot of the day!
But when a fellow flickr buddy and a great photographer, Daniel, was in town again, it boosted my enthusiasm again! So, what were we shooting? As the theme suggested - an abandoned house. I've located this particular old and creepy (eerie to be exact) at the outskirts of KL, and said to myself this place is perfect for us! So, on that day, meself, Daniel, Ariffin, Rocket, Ayul and Mr. Nordin head to that creepy place and within minutes, everyone was shooting away!

More pictures to come on Part Two! More picture can also be viewed at my Flickr Site.
Pheww.. it's been a hectic week for me. A wedding covered during the weekends, and most of all is work since it's the time of the year where I need to submit my performance and evaluated by my peers. Anyway, Daniel was back in KL not long ago and this time around we were going around doing long exposures around Putrajaya.
Here some of the shots that I've posted at my Flickr.

Sorry for not updating the blog for a while :-) OK.. Back to editing wedding pictures, since it pays quite a lot :D
It's been a while since we really had a family vacation. With daily routines, we just can't find a perfect window for that much awaited escapism. And last Saturday, we finally manage to pack up our things and just drove to Genting Highlands for our short vacation.

Top of the world
It's a long way down.
Now, where should we go next? I have this dire need to photography the beach, with waves hitting the rocks under the low lights of dawn and dusk. That will be awesome! Soon, soon!
I was out with a brilliant photographer from Singapore, Daniel Cheong, not too long ago. We had a great time shooting around KLCC and some parts of KL overlooking KLCC. He wanted to do some "BladeRunner" style photography so I took him around the places where I shot the pictures from the previous post. It was a great outing and experience to go and shoot with him. Please visit his Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/danielcheong.
The photographer, Daniel, himself. He's camera shy, like me and like the idea of taking picture of us from behind :D

Also,I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Have a great 2008 dear friends! All the best!
I think it's better that I go by theme for each entry from now on. Not that I don't have anything to write, but a picture will talk even more :-) So here's the theme for this particular post - anything related to decadence and abandon :-) For this particular theme, I went out with Ipin to Glenmarie for an abandoned complex. The next session was taken at what used to be the Sungai Buloh Leprosy Center. On this particular outing, I was joined by Ab4h and Marjan - Marjan has a very funny approach at telling this particular adventure, available here. :-)

Escape is through here. This is the basement parking of the abandoned complex in Glenmarie.

Age of Decadence. This is taken at the used to be Leprosy Center in Sg. Buloh.
For this particular theme, I processing my images mostly as HDR and processed in Black & White. I think HDR and Black & White makes the best tones :-)
There'll be more photo outing soon with the guys, so if you wanna join, drop me an email or a comment :-)
I have no clue on what to write on this entry. So instead, I'll let the pictures do the talking, in no particular order. There must be reason when people say, a picture is worth a thousand words :P Anyway, how was your Aidil Fitri? Mine was good, considering that I'm spending my very first Aidil Fitri with junior. It's just a complete thing :-)
How do you start your day eh?

Photographing the photographer. No that's not me :P
I guess this is what they mean by saying the sky is the limit. These were shot around Sungai Buloh area on two different occasions - 1 sunny day and 1 wet day. Just another lazy update to the blog :-) before the the big Aidilfitri. Am going back to Taiping and then back to my in-laws and straight to Terengganu for some relaxation.
A wet, wet morning.
Cotton Candies... er I mean clouds.
P/s: Ignore the foregorund of the last picture... It's an eye-sore, it is the clouds that forced me to press the shutter released button.
It's already been 6 months when he first came into our life. It just felt like yesterday. Time sure flies fast. Daddy's and Mommy's addiction :-)
All covered up!

Hello Daddy!
Just a note: These 2 pictures below are processed using the unconventional way of portrait, which is HDR and Orton. (and my wife would probably dislike it hehe) :-)
