Dynamic in Range - HDR unlimited

Saturday, January 20, 2007

I've been into these HDR stuff lately and I don't think I can free myself nor that I want to be free of HDR hehe and I think a fellow Blogger/FlickR buddy, Scott (Scott's Flickr site is here.) is having the same experience with HDR and FlickR. HDR is something like an eye-opener and FlickR, well, the more appreciative comments you have, the more addicted you get hehe

But what I really need to try now is those single RAW HDR. As you can see from my FlickR, my HDR is pretty limited to buildings/landscape and off course macro (day time and night time). But what I really want is to do some portraits on HDR and also some while-driving-shots ( kids, don't do this please). There some sceneries that are just awesome and stopping the car at the side is impossible. There's no way I'm gonna get it going using multiple exposure bracketing so the only way to get it done is by single RAW conversion.

But then, here's the little problem that I have - Canon Powershot S3 does not have RAW, only JPEGs. So scratch the single RAW thingy aside until my new Canon EOS 400D comes in *heh heh heh*

Well, at the moment, I'll just make do with what I have :)

Hmm getting a wide angle converter for my PowerShot S3 seems a good idea...

Again, like always, my blog wouldn't be complete without my shots! Hahaha (Oh before I forgot, these are HDR shots using multiple exposure.)

The same day I hang out with Ipin, only this is in the evening after the rain stops. I have to tell you, the sunset and clouds were breath taking - IMHO, the best I've seen so far. Litterally the Golden Hours!

This is Sunway Lagoon. I was there with Ipin after hanging out at Orca Blue with him. Promo: If you want to take scuba lessons and getting yourself diving gears, check out the Orca Blue at http://www.myorcablue.com or you can contact them through their email admin [at] myorcablue dot com. The boss there is an excellant underwater photographer :)

The Wawasan Bridge in Putrajaya is must - almost everyone who are there to shoot, will definately take a shot at this bridge.

I went back to Putrajaya in the middle of the night with Syscalls, Pak Mat, Jibam and Jojo. Love the buildings and trees here.
